New Beginnings

I believe it's been roughly 19 months since any effort has been placed into my beloved blog. This blog has historically been a release of sorts. Whether it be a lot about nothing or a little about something, it was filled with uncensored thoughts that clearly became my little stream of consciousness! Well, not only time has passed, but circumstances have changed. Life, for this woman, has changed. My perspective is different in many ways as are my goals to some extent.

Let me just put it out there, I'm divorced. Yes, divorced and guess what, turns out it doesn't make you a bad person or any less a believer in the unity of marriage. In fact, I have come to appreciate "marriage" more than I ever imagined. I will not downplay the negative that comes along with a divorce or circumstances encountered that lead to one. Simply, life goes on, optimism continues, love of God never ends, faith grows and the good times still matter!

Alright, that's out of the way. No need for further details! I've decided to post twice a week (for now) and I'm not sure exactly where I'll go with it. Although there are a few ideas lingering in my brain, I'm going to resist the need to "brand" this blog. By day, I manage and develop programs for a "brand". By night, I'll be enjoying time with my far from branded blog - or so I hope!

Trials bring lot's of time spent with introspection, renewed hope, drudging of deep feelings, facing of fears and hope and enjoyment that, in one way, comes from dreaming of future possibilities and lovely experiences or thoughts of present. Welcome to my little ride. It's been a little bumpy, but always genuine.

Perhaps I'll have fun with all things creative, my thoughts on worldwide current events, dreams, family, food, exploration, fun finds of all kinds, whatever 'tickles my pickle' as they say and, I suppose, all things that inspire. You'll have to hang in there with me as I explore all of the changes in "blogging logistics" that are present since I last gave this a try (i.e. during my post preview, it looked like there was some sort of link from the word divorce above to a singles page - that was not planned to say the least). I look forward to any comments, questions and opinions that come as I share. Hopefully, one day this will be a little chunk of life to share with my kids. Off I go on my dance with grace. Perhaps you'll join me. Here's to new beginnings and revised endings!
